There are openings and then there are GRAND OPENINGS. While the BottleNeck Lounge has, indeed, already opened it has not yet GRAND OPENED. That is happening Thursday night, March 8. We got a fancy paper invite and everything. BottleNeck says there will be another event or three marking the start of business at the Madison lounge but tomorrow night is the big she-bang. I’m a pretty big fan of the Bottleneck. They have a drink called the Sofa Sleuth that has a bourbon-soaked cherry at the bottom. YUM! All of their specialty drinks are named after some local dog they know. It might sound kinda odd, but it works.
