An interesting idea for a local blog kicked off with a visit to 15th Ave’s past — VintageSeattle looks at what became of old Fire Station No. 7
It’s cool to still see the old door arches today. Makes me wonder if there are any newly built buildings that will be worth converting and preserving in 86 years. Maybe the libraries. Walgreens?

Pretty cool, although it’s a total rip-off of Paul Dorpat’s weekly “Then and Now” column on the last page of the Pac NW magazine in the Sunday paper.
Very cool! Who cares that it matches Dorpat’s idea?
If the lease on the fire station ever comes up for grabs, we should make sure to get someone in there who’s going to use the space to create a great indoor-outdoor dining space.
