Help us help the Violin Dude of 15th Ave

You walk by the violin guy on 15th Ave all the time but have you ever dropped a buck in his case? We like Violin Dude so we want to make sure he is adequately compensated for his time. We figure he should be pulling in at least, what, $15 an hour for his effort. Figure he plays 10 hours a week -- that should put him somewhere near $600 for a month's work, no?

Please help us in this effort to make sure Violin Dude's income is reaching goal by reporting your Violin Dude giving in the last 30 days.

In the past month, I've given the 15th Ave Violin Dude this many dollars:

I enjoy the first 15 minutes of his set but unfortunately he doesn't really play any songs. He just plays the same fancy riffs over and over again, which can be really annoying when you live within earshot of where he plays. He's a billion times better than the angry drunk guy or the cracked out meth in the morning guy but I really wish he would move along after an hour or so of playing.

I like 15th Avenue Violin Dude, but I can't remember seeing him in the past few months. I gave him a dollar one time down on Broadway, I think...
