Farmers' Market finds

Have you been to the Broadway Farmer's Market yet? I've been buying 2lbs of asparagus a week since it opened. I found sugar snap peas, Alaska salmon, pink oyster mushrooms, and some amazing heirloom tomatoes.

Hours
11am-3pm Sunday behind BOA on Broadway. It's been in the newspapers and local blogs for a few weeks now. I don't know about television, I don't own one.

Fresh mushroom cheese ravioli & Half Pint Ice Cream
We had the ravioli for dinner tonight -- perfect! And heartily recommend a scoop of toasted coconut at Half Pint. (we got some info from Half Pint, too, that should make a good ice cream post)

Ice cream
The ice cream sold out before we had a chance to grab any, at least by the time I finished drooling over the asparagus and listening to the Mushroom Man. Next time...

peas, beans, radishes
Yes to snap peas, and YES to organic beans! We also bought some radishes that made spicy, crunchy snacks this afternoon. Next time I'm getting ravioli... yum.
