Garage Sale break-up -- bogus or real?

We received this description in someone's registration for Capitol Hill Community Garage Sale Day:

Breaking Up, Selling it ALL!
XXXXX Broadway E
Everything that reminds us of each other. (furniture, electronics, old photos, etc.)

What do you think? A set-up a la those Craigslist scams where people post a bogus "free stuff giveaway" and invite people to clear out somebody else's house? More importantly, is it my responsibility to knock on their door and ask?

By the way, we still have room at our two shared-space locations for the June 14th Garage Sale Day. If you live in apartment or just don't have a good space but want to be part of the day, register for the CHAC or the Madison location at http://www.capitolhillgaragesale.com. Registration deadline is June 10th.

Its real
Its our sale. My boyfriend and I are breaking up after 8 years together, amicably. Our stuff will be out of the house to alleviate any fears of the craigslist scam (and we will both be there selling together)! There may be a few items that are in the place, but I assure you its real!
