Mark your calendars… this looks like a really great event coming up next month.
Imagine Capitol Hill is putting on a Sustainability Fair on July 20th. From their website:
“We will shut down the streets surrounding the Broadway Farmer’s Market and bring in local businesses, musicians, artists, food producers, and others to celebrate current sustainable practices in the neighborhood, educate, and party in the streets. The fair will have interactive, hands-on activities such as a sustainable food demonstrations, an outdoor tea café, craft projects using recycled materials, neighborhood walks, talks and more.”
The event is also going to include the 3rd Annual Bike-In Movie at Cal Anderson – put on in partnership with the NW Film Forum.
Oooh, this looks like fun! I think I might walk, though. 1-5 block rides are reserved for fixies.
