The best indicator of what will happen today is what happened yesterday.  We are in the midst of seasons and trends. They will repeat.

August 2007

• A surveillance camera popped up in a poorly chosen place (and soon disappeared)
• You, as usual, couldn't see shooting stars on Capitol Hill

• P-patches vs. parks were debated
• Our mostly useless sharrows were born
• We experienced hillku for the first time
• We were the top neighborhood blog in Seattle week's 2007 Best of edition
• There was a lunar eclipse over Capitol Hill (and other places, we presume)
• We proved definitively that last summer's weather sucked
• Like the swallows to San Juan Capistrano, the Toobs returned to Volunteer Park

August 2006

• Dan Savage stole our content
• 15th Ave got all tore up
• We reviewed the place that is now the Bottleneck Lounge
• The Huff murder house went back up for rent
• Cypress was about to be born (so it could die and become Smith)
