Toobs: Full coverage, analysis and post-game show

By the time we made it to Volunteer Park this afternoon, the Toobs were tired and lazy. The hazy sun and steady breeze kept the cylinders mostly lying flat, lazing on the grass.

It's such a simple project -- we were told the Toobs are basically huge industrial garbage bags -- but it's a lot of fun to experience, even when the Toobs are lazy like they were when we visited. And as far as art goes, it's probably the most accessible work you'll ever find. Maybe too accessible -- you can read some of artist Susan Robb's thoughts on Toob touching in this e-mail interview we did with her last year.

By the end of the day, Robb, pictured below, seemed tired of shooing away kids -- and adults. It was time for the Toobs to leave Capitol Hill. Check out the video to watch Robb cut them loose.

I'm in ur video, Toobin'
The video resolution doesn't really capture me, as I blend into the grass (military training), but I can see the blue of my bike under the tree to the right.
