CHS 'top tender' happy hour next Tuesday

Liberty Bar
Originally uploaded by Rob Gruhl

Hey yuppies, hipsters and gays, the votes are tallied and the notice is going out -- we're gathering at Liberty next Tuesday night at 6p. The little 15th Ave gay hipster yuppie bar won the right to host the soiree against other best-bartender-on-the Hill nominees.

Is Liberty's mix master truly worthy? If it's like any social gathering that I am usually part of, we'll put the 'tender to the test with long, rambling orders, offensive requests including Diet Coke and general awkwardness. But we'll make up for it with fantastic tips.

Liberty's happy hour runs 'til 7. The CHS crowd is usually good for about two hour of critical mass so show up by 7ish or risk having nobody to talk to but me or, gasp, strangers.

With bells on
I'm hoping to attend. Since this will be my first CHS event and I don't know what everyone looks like, what's the protocol for introducing ourselves? Nametags? Someone with a sign on a stick? :D

RE: With bells on
I'll bring nametags. But other than that, you kind of have to do that walk in and frantically look about thing until somebody feels sorry for you and asks if you are looking for the 'blog thing.'
