Where is CHS this Thanksgiving? open thread

The pies are ready over at Volunteer Park Cafe. If you haven't ordered already, you're too late (though they were scrambling to prepare a few emergency pies!). Better order now for Christmas. Or next Thanksgiving.

Time for another CHS open thread. Where are you spending your Thanksgiving Thursday? We'll be right here in Fancy Pants celebrating a friends and family feast. Geographic sound-off in the comments, please.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm off to that other fancy pants neighborhood, Laurelhurst to hang out with my grandparents.

Doing the I-90 tonight
After a stopover in Wenatchee, parents and I are going up to the new retirement cabin getaway in Aeneas Valley, outside of Tonasket. Only 5.5 hours from Seattle!

Right here
Just around the corner from Broadway--no place I'd rather be.

Okay, I wouldn't mind seeing family; but they're too far, so here I am; at least I've got you, CHS.

a little drive, but not bad
Got a big dinner planned at the home of a friend in Renton, but I'll spend most of the morning and early afternoon on my beloved Hill. I'll likely grab breakfast munchies and coffee at Vivace in the morning.

retrospective
After spending the past week in Iowa and having an early Sunday Thanksgiving, my bf and I arrived back on Capitol Hill around 6pm Thursday night. (Yay, cheap flights!) We called Mirch Marsala on Broadway and they were not only open but recommended we make a reservation (!) for dinner. YUM!
