Snow?!

I heard the words “90% chance of snow” while I was heading to work today, so I thought I’d look into it.

Weather Channel (Seattle): 100% chance of snow today (12/17), 80% tomorrow (12/18). Most likely start time is late PM or early AM tomorrow.

KOMO weather: Snow today and tomorrow, probably starting this afternoon. “A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for several areas in Western Washington, where over 4″ of snow could accumulate by Wednesday night as a storm drops south from northern British Columbia and combines moisture with our very chilly temperatures. Even in Seattle, the city areas could see a few inches of snow during the day and evening.”

King 5 Weather: Snow likely in the afternoon and evening.

Woohoo! Let it snow!

And beware of bus tracking sites when buses start to reroute. Onebusaway.com finally clarified this issue for me: http://code.google.com/p/onebusaway/wiki/AdverseWeatherRerou

PS: we’re in a major rain shadow right (snow shadow? )now so looks like no snow until tonight if at all..

I drive around town for work, and didn’t see a lick of fresh snow from broadmoor to georgetown, just some nice chill and a brisk wind.
Looks like a nice night for pho!
