Talk with 224 Broadway developers? Not yet

Earlier this week, we told you that SRM Development would be at this Thursday’s community council meeting to discuss the project at 224 Broadway that now involves the newly-acquired Cafe Septieme building.

SRM has now let us know they want to hold off for a few weeks while they sort out changes in their plans related to the newly acquired building, adjoining properties they are trying to acquire and talks with existing tenants. Project manager Andy Loos wrote saying there are “some tenant issues that look like they are going to change the amount of land we will have for the project. It may be better to wait a month so that we know exactly the magnitude of the project before going to the Council with it.”

No word on whether this will also mean a delay on the Feb 4 design review scheduled for the project.

In other development related news, don’t forget tonight’s design review meeting for the building that currently houses B&O Espresso on Olive. Meeting starts at 8p tonight at Seattle Central.
