Abraham Obama

Abraham Obama, the art piece by Ron English is finally on display on Capitol Hill.  The installation was originally planned for late December, but they decided that a blizzard wasn’t the best time to be installing outdoor art.  Capitol Hill Housing developer Kate Stineback says that they didn’t plan on installing it on inauguration day, but this just happened to be the first day that both she and BLVD Curator Damion Hayes could both make it.

So head down to the Boren Pike Pine Park and check it out.  It’s a really cool piece at a VERY visible location, you can’t miss it if you’re heading up from downtown on Pine.

This was my last day of shooting for the Obama Art episode of CHS-V.  I’ve posted a couple of updates of past shoots that I’ve done, on my blog.
