I have a question and don’t quite know where to turn.  I am thinking of renting on 19th and E Republican, and I am trying to locate the closest laundromat to me.  I know of the one on 12th and John, but I’m hoping to find something closer.  Thanks for any suggestions!

As far as I know, 12th Ave is your only choice, new potential neighbor. Most of the apartment buildings in the area billow out fabric softener-scented steam so I’m assuming lots of renters toward the top of the hill have laundry rooms at their disposal.

  1. Its also one of the very few places you can wash and dry a large comforter anymore with those high capacity machines.

  2. There’s also the laundromat right by City Market, but after one bad experience there I go to 12th Ave exclusively.

  3. would someone please open a new laundromat/bar. It’s been a while and this still seems like a great combination of events: drinking and laundry. I would even settle for tea and laundry… coffee shop and laundry? As someone who once left a laundromat to get coffee next door with clothes in 2 washing machines (who steals wet clothes?) and then returned to find ALL of my clothes stolen…please! and a ms pacman machine would be necessary as well
