The Seattle PI has killed its last tree

After Tuesday, it’s online only for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. No word on what will happen for paper subscribers but don’t be surprised if you find a Seattle Times on your porch.

More importantly, 150 or so people losing their jobs in journalism tomorrow. Here’s to hope that they find a place to continue working in journalism, in Seattle.

Finally, it should be noted that it is exciting to have an online-only news venture of this scope trying to stay in business in our city. Looking forward to being part of what comes next.
