Off Hill: Truck hits oft-struck bridge on Lake Wa Blvd

Traffic was backed up for about 30 minutes this afternoon after a freight truck struck the Arboretum pedestrian bridge crossing Lake Washington Boulevard. A year ago next week, two dozen people went to the hospital after a charter bus carrying members of Garfield's girl's softball teams struck the same bridge. The driver of the truck appeared uninjured and was being questioned at the scene after he helpe maneuver the truck out from under the bridge and into a nearby parking lot.

You just can't idiot proof a bridge with low clearance. I think they even have lights that flash to warn you that your vehicle is over height and this person still missed that.
