The man suspected in yesterday’s robbery at the Banner Bank on Madison near Broadway told detectives he committed the crime to support his drug habit and had already spent the money on drugs at the time of his arrest only hours later, Central District News reports. Ricardo Perez, 53, is suspected of robbing the bank Wednesday around 11:30 AM. His physical description matches the suspect in Saturday’s bank robbery at the Wells Fargo at the Safeway at 15th Ave E and John.

Now a days is rough economic times. People having no money no jobs. they probably rob to support them. I was unemployeed for two years and never thought about it because its a bad crime. Instead I hussled money in gay bars, Old gay men would buy me drinks and give me money. Sometimes go to there homes for more money. Worst time in my life. My nightmare ended after 2 years of struggle. I got fired from alaska airlines in August 20th 2003 after 9 years of service. Today I’m 36 and back at alaska airlines cargo department, Have my own studio apartment and back with my boyfriend for 7 years now, Back then he left me because of my husting money in gay bars not working stuff. Drinking. Still broke all the time owe $4000 in debt cant pay but never think about bank robbing its illegal and stupid, Goying to gay bars and old gay men buying you drinks and some day they offer you a job in better. My life has changed %110 since Febuary 2004. Boyfriend came back to my life in couple months after may of that year. Thank god for that. Just have enough money for half rent, Which is good. I gamble some today to see if I get extra cash, sometimes win big but lose most of time. credit score is 525 which is horrible but someday hopefully that will change.
