Old School Frozen at 1316 E. Pike Street will be serving free cones from 3-10pm on Saturday June 6. Get there early. I suspect that a lot of people have been anticipating the opening for a long time. CHS has been reporting on their progress since February.
Hi, this is Nathan at Old School! We had hoped to open this weekend and are completely ready to open our doors, but our heath inspection did not happen yesterday, so we have to wait until Monday for the inspection. If the inspection happens we will open on Tuesday!
We want to thank everyone who stopped by last night and got samples! We are so excited to open our doors in this neighborhood!! I grew up here in Capitol Hill and can’t imagine a better place for our first Seattle shop!
There is a March for Health Care today. Seemingly, affects people living on the Hill.

Since they make so much money per square foot they can pay the steep Hill rents, look for tons of such places, new frozen desert heaven on its way. Love it….. but still not “news’.
If you had posted news about a March for Custard or Ice Cream your comment would have been relevant to the post. I’m not looking for healthcare march news, I’m looking to find a new place to get fat when I read this post.

Getting fat is not news either, 1/3 of Americans are obese, and, with no mystery, they eat too many calories in relation to real activity.
