So, I wasn’t ready for dinner, but noshed on the spam musubi (kosher – everything is glatt kosher, unusual for Hawaiian and Korean pork-based street food, with a heksher in kanji). [Note: Of course this is true, would it say it on the Internet if it wasn’t?]
Ask for some of their home-pickled thin-sliced jalepeno as a garnish on anything.
Seemed clean and efficient, at Broadway & Pike Shell station. (“Eat here, get gas” sign missing.)
Aloha –
Does the musubi include scrambled egg?
Kona Kathy
mmm…kalbi tacos and aloha sliders were great.
@Kathy I didn’t see any sign of egg in the spam musubi, but didn’t try one so can’t say for sure. I’ll be back to try that and their kimchi fried rice.
No egg, just the spam strapped onto the sushi rice with the nori band. Very tasty.
We tried pretty much everything but the Kimchi Rice bowl was definitely my favorite. It was very new to me but it was delicious and fun eating out of the chinese takeout box :)
