Pioneer Square move complete, Third Man Video opens for business

While we’re checking out what’s in Capitol Hill’s Netflix queue, indie rental shop Third Man Video (reviews) has completed their move — and their name change — from Pioneer Square and say they are open for business tonight. From owner Shane:

Fitting our store into this smaller space at 606 E Pine has been a challenge. Anyhow, we are now open and we are offering traditional type rentals ($2.99 catalogue titles for 7 days and $3.99 new releases for 3 days with a 5 day option) and we are also offering subscription plans starting at $14.99 for unlimited rentals with no due dates or late fees.

It’s a busy weekend for new biz activity on the Hill with Olympia Pizza’s new lounge space hosting a friends and family event tonight before opening for realz on Monday. There’s, of course, plenty of old biz on the Hill to support too — here’s a reminder note from the folks at Rosebud that they’re open despite some sidewalk work being done nearby.

awesome, glad to hear a local brick & mortar is taking on Netflix, if they have good enough selection I might just switch.
