The area around Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct headquarters at 12th and Pine is cordoned off after the discovery of a suspicious item at the building.
The situation appears to have started around 9 PM. We have no details on what was found and where the items was located.
I live right on 12th and Pine and they won’t let us leave our apartment or block right now. What’s the deal? I swear we were just out getting ice cream 5 minutes before when my friend called and said the police station and block were blocked off. We went outside of our apartment to check what was going on and some cop on 13th and pine told us to get inside.
We are pretty much in lockdown, have no idea how long this will last. Pretty freaky stuff, as stated by the comment above.
