Capitol Hill cupcakes for breakfast

In product placement that would make even the most cynically produced reality television program look nonprofit in comparison, we caught this Pike/Pine resident availing herself of a morning meal of treats smooshed to a tree outside CHS sponsor Cupcake Royale. Tomorrow, we’ll have full coverage of Petey the acai loving dog’s visit to Healeo.

Crows eat their dry, lacking in flavor from the mix sack cupcakes… wow.

I am impressed, crows, those picky eaters.

What say other animal life? Do we have a report?

((( love the photos and the word smooshed )))

I want to live in your world M w c where everything is rendered delicious using only sugar, butter and puppy dog tails and, yes, is reasonably priced below $3, 50 cents.

You hold the aces – cause you have this site.

But, yes, there are alternatives, at least to the present array of pricey cupcakes and glazed donuts.

I have been spoiled by a family of great cooks, too. My grandmother was a sous chef at the old Olympic … as a child I relished the feasts she created at any family event.

Compare a dry cupcake with a seven layer cake, Martha Washington’s old Virginia style, with pudding and jam between the layers and real homemade chocolate frosting … oh well. Work calls.
