Improved street UI at Nagle and Pine

To the people behind the lovely new space for Blick Art Materials and the overhaul of the old DMX building along Nagle Place, thanks for improving our street usability and adding an extremely useful sign to help us find Cal Anderson Park.

Although, to clarify… I think it’s because Blick Art Materials has validated parking available in the garage of The Broadway Building. The garage just opened to the public yesterday with what looks like some pretty hefty rates.

I think the sign is for the new public parking garage on the Nagle Place side of the Broadway Building.

I saw your tongue planted firmly in cheek there.

But considering it’s an art store, perhaps… can we get a radical artist to make a sign to add above “park” reading “CAL ANDERSON”…?

I’m so glad they put that sign up there. With all the construction, I was constantly losing sight of Cal Anderson and now I’ll always be able to find it!
