Neighbor Allison with the sleepy details: Woke up to a power outage this morning here in the 400 block of Summit. City Light says about 2000 folks in Capitol Hill/South Lake Union are affected. Recording says they don’t know a cause or when they’ll have things back on. Sounds to me like a good excuse to roll over and go back to sleep.

The city light recording now says power back on everywhere except Denny to Pike, I-5 to Summit. Bad cable, ETA 2PM.
Apparently a crow got stuck in the power lines on the NE side of the PINE/ MELROSE intersection– I believe that they just got it out…
Power is finally back–yay!
The crow is still lying on the sidewalk in front of the Chapel. I guess City Light decided it was a proper resting place.
