Having opened to great (major media) fanfare with a “Grand Opening” featuring scantily clad boyz a little less than two months ago, Barista Boyz has quietly shut down.  Below is the text of the note that can be seen on their window:

Dear Valued Barista Boyz Customers:

Due to unforseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that we are no longer open for business.  We want to thank you for your support & patronage these past few months.  We truly will miss serving you & wish you all the best!

Where will all the soccer moms and Nicole Brodeur go for their peepshow now?

CHS is following up with Boyz owner Dave Ray regarding the reasons for closing.  Barista Boyz replaced Buzz Stop at 1122 East Madison in January 2010.
