Things are coming together at 16th Ave. & E. Howell St.
Trivia question: What is/was “Second Hill”?
http://www.seattle.gov/parks/proparks/projects/7_hills_devel has interesting info.
Edit – I changed “16th Ave. E.” to “16th Ave.” since it’s not north of E. Denny Way.
But not in Renton, in the CD!

aka 18th and Madison…
aka the TV/Radio Tower hill
I recently took one of Seattle Architectural Foundations walking tours (yes, a plug—they’re great and very informative) and that’s where I learned that Capitol Hill was originally called Second Hill after First Hill had already been developed. I always thought Capitol Hill had it’s name from the fact that people anticipated Seattle would be the state capitol, but the name actually came from one of the early developers who had moved here from Denver and that city’s Capitol Hill district. So…learn something new every day!
My companion mapped out a 7 Hills of Seattle bike ride, and we started at the park:

It’s essentially a 6 hill ride, though. You get a free pass for Denny Hill, since it no longer exists.
