The digital video camera was, uh, rolling Tuesday afternoon inside Broadway’s All Pilgrim’s Church as Capitol Hill’s own boylesque superstar Waxie Moon shot scenes for Waxie Moon in Fallen Jewel, the latest collaboration for the performer and director Wes Hurley.

The Hill just finished its star turn in the Grassroots production that said goodbye with a shoot on the Lakeview overamp of I-5 this weekend. Here’s the wrap crew picture from the production’s Twitter feed:

Also Tuesday, the MoveOn.org concert and rally brought music and the political cause to Cal Anderson Park.
