Internet video reality star Dan 3.0 meeting with fans in Cal Anderson Park

We can’t really explain this but a rather popular “video blogger” from Nebraska is meeting with fans in Seattle on Thursday and he’s chosen Cal Anderson Park for the big event:

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dan 3.0, it sounds a lot like CHS — a bunch of people daring some guy to do crazy shit. Here’s his FAQ:

Who are you?

I’m Dan Brown– a 20 year old video blogger from Lincoln Nebraska. I’ve been making videos for three years now and have amassed a quarter of a million subscribers on my YouTube channel.

What are you doing?

Dan 3.0 is as much a show as it is a project as it is a social experiment. For one year (starting on August 2nd, 2010) I am putting control of my life in the hands of Dan 3.0′s viewers and documenting the whole thing.

How’s that?

To make Dan 3.0 a reality I’ve partnered with Revision3 (who are awesome… just sayin’). They’ve built a truly impressive piece of internet that we’re calling the Decision Engine through which anyone can submit an idea as to what I should do with my life this year.

Cool! How do I watch?

Revision3.com/dan30 is the official home of Dan 3.0, where you can watch all my episodes depicting my adventures!

How do I submit a task for you to complete?

Simple! Go to revision3.com/dan30/propose, fill out all the fields, and click submit. You can also click the big orange button that says Propose a task from elsewhere on the Dan 3.0 site to get there. You can submit a maximum of two questions per day, so make sure to think them through!
