Christmas Tree disposal

From the SPU website

For two weeks after Christmas, trees can be placed curbside for pickup – no tinsel, ornaments, or flock!
The tree must be less than 4 inches in diameter, and trimmed to 6 feet tall and 4 feet across.
Clean trees can also be taken to the Transfer Station for free.
If tree is flocked, it must be disposed of as garbage: Cut into pieces in your garbage can, or take to the Transfer Station.

So if my Christmas tree has no tinsel, ornaments, or flock and is less than 4 inches in diameter, and trimmed to 6 feet tall and 4 feet across, I can simply drag it to the curb and walk away? It’s as easy as that? No one will yell at me for dumping my tree on the curb?
