We featured Rod Hoekstra’s kite-powered photograph of a one-of-a-kind view of the Cal Anderson mountain fountain earlier this week. We also had news that crews were beginning to assemble the Big Crane and its 250-foot arm at the nearby light rail construction site. Consider this post the logical outcome of both — Hoekstra pointed us to this image he was able to snap of the Big Dig from a much different angle than we’re used to seeing.
can we put this guy on the regular CHS payroll? these are awesome! I want every CHS post to be accompanied by a kite photo.
Seriously! These are super fun.
Love these!
maybe someone should spring for him to get one of these video-enabled quadricopters ( http://ardrone.parrot.com/parrot-ar-drone/usa/), the next generation in CHS aerial videography!
This is the best thing ever!
