The 37-year-old man found dead Sunday morning in the empty lot at Federal and Republican was killed blunt force trauma to the head, according to the King County Medical Examiner. The identity of the white male has not yet been made public. He was found dead with a head injury on the site of the future FedRep park by a passerby early Sunday. Seattle police are investigating his death as a homicide.
