First (legal) distillery on Capitol Hill since Prohibition opens Friday

And you are invited.

We wrote about the $750,000 project backed by Michael Klebeckhere. The opening will be the first in a wave of new craft distilleries coming to the Hill in the wake of liberalized state laws related to small batch spirits.

donut flavored gin
i hope the liquor's better than the donuts--which are atrocious. no matter, i'm sure the marketing engine will convince rachel ray and the masses that whatever swill emerges from that gin head is worthy of a discerning palette.
