Elliott Bay celebrates first year on Capitol Hill

Unlike most birthday parties you get invited to, this time, the present is for you. Elliott Bay Book Company is celebrating its first year on Capitol Hill with a 15%-off coupon for everybody. The 10th Ave store quietly opened after Elliott Bay’s move from Pioneer Square on April 14th, 2010. CHS was also there, of course, for the formal ribbon cutting the next day. We’ll have more on the anniversary soon but, in the meantime, the coupon is below. Any recommendations?

I am so happy to have EB here. Bought several books when they opened and will do the same on this coupon. Good excuse to get the new David Foster Wallace and the new China Mieville and their staff recommends wall is always dangerous with suggestions that interest me. Yay small local business?!
