Here are some details from organizers. Maypole!

Starbucks and Umpqua Bank are providing some goodies, and I believe some Council members (and maybe even the Mayor) will be coming by to celebrate. There will be a Maypole to welcome Spring and musicians have been invited to set the mood as you enjoy the park. For all the garden minded people, there will be a Tilth Master Composter giving a presentation at 1:30pm.You can see the invitation flyer attached.

Friends of the Conservatory annual meeting. Volunteer Park’s conservatory is approaching its 100th birthday. The people working to keep it open are gathering in Mount Baker(?) Thursday night.
We said the Best of Art Walk Awards might be an opportunity to galvanize the Seattle art event community. FRED Wildlife Refuge. 8 PM.
