7 countries, 1 Capitol Hill soccer field

KING 5 makes a visit to the Miller Park neighborhood for a cool little story on the Seattle Bilingual Orientation Center school soccer team. We wrote about a new health program at SBOC here. Illustrative of the diversity represented in the Seattle Schools center, the team boasts players from seven different nations, according to the coach.

I stumbled upon one of their scrimmages the other day while out on a walk, and wow, these kids are good. Very cool to see kids from so many different countries playing together so seamlessly.

i will never for get my first school in the USA and that is SBOC.this school was like a family to me ,because i met many friends from differnt countries.and we are so happy to talk to eachother as friends.i cherish classmates and teachers.
They understand and encourage me.
Their friendship and support mean a lot to me.i create fond memories.
I make friends for life.
I realize that school life is really great.
