The FBI has sent CHS these images obtained of a Yankees cap-wearing bandit from the security cameras at the Broadway US Bank during Wednesday night’s hold-up.
Here’s the bulletin from the FBI’s Seattle office:
The suspect in the pictures robbed the bank at 4:50 pm, using a note stating that he was armed. He is a white male, estimated to be in his 30s, around 5’9” and 180 lbs. He wore a black “NY” baseball cap. The suspect fled and remains at large. Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the FBI Safe Streets Task Force at 206-622-0460. This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous: USE CAUTION.
Bank robbery is a beautiful tradition of the poor taking money from the most nefarious of banks. I challenge any of you to find the number of people who have died from a bank robbery in the Seattle area(besides the robbers) and juxtapose that number with the number of people killed by the police in the same area.

What the hell are you talking about? A beautiful tradition? Of desperate, lazy maniacs scaring the shit out of bank employees and entire neighborhoods as they are chased after by the very people who serve to protect us?? A bank robbery involves threats of violence and damage to psyche that is far beyond simply reaching into a big bank’s vault and taking some cash…it involves human beings. Humans beings that are WORKING a JOB to EARN A LIVING. I’ve lived at or near poverty my whole life, worked my ass off, and have never once felt the need to rob a bank. A typical comment from someone who thinks they are entitled to what they’re not willing to work for, and whom lacks the compassion to see the human component in these crimes and there many victims.

Man, bank robbery does NOT harm the citizen. Maybe it scares them. But seriously, go to komo or something and type in bank robbery in the search engine. does anyone die? no. does anyone get hurt? no. like the person said, maybe the robbers get shot by dudes in the park, but no one gets hurt. all that money’s insured anyway, so don’t come whining about it hurting the customers wallet or anything. who gives two buttons worth about the banks anyway. seriously everyone, if you keep defending all this crap, i’m gonna put a wicked spell on you.

That’s one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve seen in a long time. I simply do not understand the vehemence with which some people hate the banks…yes, they are sometimes guilty of greed and exploitation, but they also provide a vital community service.
You seem like a person (? anarchist) who thinks he/she can pick and choose which laws to obey. Sorry, a civil society doesn’t work that way. If you disagree with a law, work legally to get it changed.

I have a friend who was once a teller and got held up, the man threatened to shoot her brains out if she didn’t give him the money that instant.
She quit her job that moment and still has problems sleeping today.
I guess it’s only a serious crime when someone dies? I guess rape isn’t a real crime since no one dies or gets shot? For some, being held up inflicts the same emotional damage a rape does.
This guy is wearing a Yankee hat. Everyone knows the Yankees are sysnonomious with facism. They feel entitled to the highest levels of achievement and don’t care how they get it or who that step on to get it. This is not some Bonnie and Clyde movie. I seriously doubt this guy is robbing from the bank and giving the money to orphans. This guy is likely giving the money to his drug dealer to help him liberate his mind from the need to think clearly and ethically.
