Everything Merrillee is OPEN for Business in the ‘Hood!

Just in time for custom Halloween costumes and your fashionable Holiday season, a new seamstress has opened up shop in 11th Ave. between Pike and Pine, above PURR. Merrillee Bradshaw has been sewing and designing for as long as she can remember. And although she declines to disclose just how many years that is…..she does admit making her first dress at an early age (8!), learning from her mother, a divine couture seamstress and alterations expert.

Merrillee’s expertise lies mainly in dressmaking and clothing design.  She excels in alterations and fitting. Among her greatest accomplishments has been the creation if some pretty cool costumes for the Seattle fan production movie, Star Trek Phoenix, by Temporal Studios.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEWUxF-pLb4&feature=relat

Also among her work is a line of pet clothing, Buttercup and Peanut and a line of children’s clothing, Storybook Baby. She can be found selling her designs most Saturdays at the Century Ballroom Flea Market, or you can check out her website at www.everythingmerrillee.com

If YOU would like Merrillee to create a special costume for you for Halloween, design the wedding dress of your dreams, have your favorite shirt better fitted to your body, or get those pesky slacks that are hanging in your closet finally hemmed…..you can call her at 206-949-2204 for an appointment.  Her location is super convenient, her work is excellent, and her turn-around-time is FAST FAST FAST!
