Police and medics responded to 14th and Madison Wednesday afternoon to a report of a man shot in the foot. Details are extremely thin at this point but SPD says there is not an active search for a shooter in the immediate area around the Bank of America parking lot where the man was located. Seattle Fire tells us a man in his 20s was treated by arriving medics and transported to Harborview by a private ambulance company. Use of the private company indicates non-life threatening injuries.
Gunlocks may save lives. But, holsters save feet.
And keep that boogerhook off the trigger until ready to shoot!
“I shot myself in the foot and can’t get up!”
