Man and woman arrested in Summit/Olive drug robbery

A man and woman were arrested for investigation of robbery Thursday night after police found two men fighting outside an apartment building in a drug deal gone bad at Summit and E Olive.

According to the police report on the incident, officers responded to a call just after 8p from a man who said he was being robbed. They arrived to find two men fighting.

The caller told police he is from out of town and met one of the suspects downtown earlier that day. The victim said he had come up to Capitol Hill with the suspect to rent a place to sleep for the night. He said the man and the woman then pulled knives on him and demanded more money. The victim told police he handed over his cash, left the building and called 911 but as he was on the phone, the male suspect came outside and attacked him.

After further questioning, police say both men admitted that they had met for a drug deal.

The man and woman were arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery.

  1. I live near this corner, know EXACTLY which building they are referring to and I have to say, “BRAVO!”.
I’ve been(as have others in this area)followed and harassed for not giving these bums smokes or change and we have to chase them off our front stairs daily. They’re constantly fighting, openly dealing drugs and threatening people who live near these blocks. Hell, we had a drugged out jerk-off screaming and throwing bricks a month or so back.

It’s nice to hear one of them was actually arrested.
