Seattle U invites the neighborhood to campus Christmas tree lighting

OK, so, Seattle University was trying to “start” a new neighborhood tradition with last year’s lighting, too. These things take time. Now that a solution has been found for concerns the school was harming an amazing old sequoia, this thing is ready to take off, we can feel it. CHS attended in 2010 and it was really quite lovely.

Seattle University Hosts Christmas Tree Lighting Event  

Community invited to join in the festivities

WHAT: In the 2nd annual “Illuminating the Holidays” event, Seattle University staff, faculty and students invite the community to campus for food, refreshments, live music and a Christmas  tree lighting. Neighbors are encouraged to bring ornaments to help decorate the tree. 

 

WHEN: Wed. Nov. 30, 2010  

            6:30-7 p.m., refreshments

            7 p.m. – tree lighting celebration 

WHERE:  McGoldrick Learning Commons, Seattle University

               Enter through 12th/Columbia (across from Starbucks), event will be to the left
