  • Cal Anderson Mural Dedication — The dedication ceremony for a mural honoring Cal Anderson, Washington’s first openly gay state senator, starts Saturday morning at 11a. “Anderson’s family, State Sen. Ed Murray, Seattle Council member Richard Conlin and Capitol Hill leaders will speak during a brief program that will also include the Rainbow City Marching Band,” a Sound Transit statement on the event notes.

The mural can be found on the northwest corner of the park on the light rail construction wall.
