Do you have a talent or passion you can share with neighbors? Would you like to learn a new hobby or could you use some help around the house? Come learn how we facilitate the exchange of services, build relationships and strengthen our communities, one hour at a time.
Tuesday, June 26th 7-8 pm, Council House, 1501 17th Avenue (Near the Capitol Hill Trader Joe’s)
You can help establish a timebank that allows neighbors to exchange services and receive services from other members of the timebank. Timebanks are successfully running across the nation and around the world. New software innovations and experience by local community members make it scalable with minimum administration, so we can focus on helping one another.
Every hour is valued the same, because we all are equally-valued members of the community. This also keeps it completely out of the tax realm.
It’s worth an hour to see if this is something you would like to have in the neighborhood.
