Analog Coffee: Capitol Hill’s only source of cold brew coffee… on draft

It was around this time last summer when CHS invented Analog Coffee. We said, basically, what the world needs now is a joint on Summit where the people care a lot about their coffee. And it happened. So we were excited when Analog co-owner Tim Hayden, a figment of our imagination, sent us this mail about a lovely new feature found at Analog just in time for some of the loveliest weather you can imagine-ate in Seattle:

I’m just writing to let you know about some new developments at Analog Coffee.  Due to increasing demand for our cold-brewed iced coffee, we have installed a kegerator and tap system to keep up.  This makes us the first coffee shop in Seattle (to my knowledge) to offer cold brew ON DRAFT.  You can have a cold brew to stay or to go, and you can also purchase an Analog Coffee COLD BREW GROWLER – a 32oz refillable amber bottle for our cold brew.  You can keep it in your fridge, bring it camping, or take it with you to the park.

Our other draft offerings include sparkling water and Rachel’s Ginger Beer – if people need their RGB growlers filled up before Montana opens, we’re the place to go.

If?

Tim, we all know most everybody needs their RGB growlers “filled up before Montana opens.” That window is rapidly closing today. But, relax, you have all day tomorrow. And the next day. The coffee will cost you $13 for your first 32 oz growler — $8 for re-fills.

Dude, it’s Thursday afternoon on a very lovely sunny day. But your questions are spectacularly good. Here’s the answer to one: https://www.google.com/webhp?q=montana%20seattle

32 oz! That is SO much coffee. Stumptown’s little bottles are usually more than enough for me.

Our growler is not meant to be consumed by a single person in a single day. Please use some restraint or share it with your friends. Please enjoy responsibly.

Analog, do you do your cold press in decaf as well? Thus far the only place I can enjoy a cold press decaf is on 15th at North Hill bakery. I love it, but would love it even more if I could get a growler of it so I don’t have to make the trek up to 15th every time I had a hankering.

Another innovation from a very innovative couple of focused young men. Is this one of those businesses that BHO said could only be successful because of the government.. I think not. My guess is young business people like Analog Coffee and Montana’s and Rachael Ginger Beer are a result of bright, hard working young people with vision and a passsion for excellence. Seattle…You are lucky to have these talent folks in your midst.

Well… you probably shouldn’t drink it all at once.

maybe keep it in your fridge and work on it for a few days?
