A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Thursday night near the MLK and Cherry — an area with repeated, sometimes deadly, incidents of gunfire. The 41-year-old man was rushed to the hospital Thursday just after 4p. Police have not said what the motive for the shooting was but say the victim and the shooter knew each other. The search continues for the suspect described as a black male around 5’7″, heavy set, bald and wearing a white t-shirt at the time of the shooting. The man is known to police.
