An elderly resident at 19th Ave E Honeysuckle Apartments reported he was robbed in his apartment by three men in a home invasion style robbery Thursday night just after 9p.
Police responded to the scene after the victim contacted 911 to report that three men, at least one wearing a mask and armed with a knife had robbed him and fled in a white, king cab style pickup with possible tan wheel wells.
Police are looking for the vehicle and the suspects described only as three white males, according to SPD radio dispatches. Medics were not called to the scene.

Thank you for the brevity of this report. That’s really all that needed to be known, and it was much more worrisome that 2 news vans decided they needed to sit out on 19th Ave. until 11 p.m. making people in the neighborhood even more paranoid.
