Thursday, November 1

• Author Marco Roth reads from his memoir The Scientists: A Family Romance, “a richer, wider portrait of life for many on New York City’s Upper West Side.” There’s more to this story than just another privileged childhood memoir. Town Hall, 7:30p
• The Rolling Stones: Charlie Is My Darling is a never-before released film based on newly mastered footage of the Rolling Stones captured during a tour stop in Ireland in 1965. The Rolling Stone magazine is wetting their pants about the film, which is “packed with unseen footage of early Stones mayhem: boozy hotel-room jams, rabid stage-rushing fans and electric live performances.” Screening one night only at Northwest Film Forum, 7p.
• Cheap Wine and Poetry is a chance for you to buy wine for a buck a cup and listen to talented Northwest poets. This month’s readers include the sharp and witty Sarah Galvin, plus three more poets. Afterward, there’s an open mic. Richard Hugo House, 7p. 
• Cirque du Soiree at Melrose Market Studios benefits the Connecting Borders Foundation. 7-10p. $40.

Friday, November 2

• Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos with live broadcast of four bands at the Hollow Earth Radio studio (2018 E Union St). Bring your sweetest sugar skull face to celebrate the day the dead. Starts at 8:05p. 
• Northwest Film Forum’s Universal Pictures: Celebrating 100 Years series kicks off on Saturday and runs through Nov 14th. The series programming ranges from Do The Right Thing to Magnificent Obsession. Is your fav U-Pic flick showing on the big screen?

Saturday, November 3

• The 52nd Annual Polish Home Fall Bazaar has booths upstairs selling Polish crystal, amber and silver jewelry, Boleslawiec pottery and more. Downstairs in the dining hall, fill up on pierogi, sausage, cabbage rolls and other delicious Yelp-loved food served by a young generation of waiters clad in Polish folk costumes.Hawt. • Seattle Jazz Vespers in performed in the historic Gothic sanctuary of Seattle First Baptist Church (Seneca and Harvard) the first Sunday of the month. This month features “Five Families Who Do Music Together.” Arrival by 5:30 is recommended to ensure a seat for the 6 – 8p performance.
