Police and medics responded to a report of a 48-year-old man with a knife wound to his back early Saturday morning at Belmont and E Pike.
Details are preliminary and have not yet been confirmed with SPD or Seattle Fire.
Police were called to investigate a robbery reported at the location and medics were called to the scene just before 4 AM to treat the man who was reportedly standing and conscious as aid units arrived, according to radio dispatches.
The incident is a block from the October 21st shooting that injured one man during a fight on Boylston over public urination.
