Congratulations to 345 sleepy King County couples

In the first nine hours of eligibility for same-sex weddings, 345 couples were licensed to marry in King County Thursday morning. A weekend of weddings and parties on Capitol Hill awaits. Though, hey, no rush — the license is good for 60 days. We’re happy to see that Jane Lighty and Pete-e Peterson were at the front of the line.

If you have big plans and would like to share them someplace other than Facebook, send your wedding announcement to CHS — we’d love to post it. You can email us or post it on our Facebook page. Congratulations.
