Cyclist knocked unconscious after crash on 10th Ave E

Seattle Fire crews responded Tuesday night to a woman who was knocked unconscious after she reportedly crashed her bike into a parked car near 10th Ave E and E Miller.

Details at this point are preliminary and have not been confirmed by officials. UPDATE: Fire tells CHS the woman is believed to have crashed into the parked car while riding down 10th Ave E. We have confirmed that police are investigating the crash.

We do not have further details on the condition of the female rider in her 50s 30s. UPDATE: Seattle Fire reports that the woman was transported with a head injury to the hospital where she is in stable condition.

The incident was reported just after 6 PM and the resulting response and investigation tied up traffic as police diverted cars around the area of the crash on the wet and blustery night.
