Sunday, April 28, the Cha Cha Lounge will host Ill Will, a music benefit for the non-profit Country Doctor Community Health Centers. Headlining the show will be the electronic mayhem of Crypts, with the grimy, hard core Eternal Badd (featuring former members of Born Anchors) and equally grimy, equally hard core Into Violence (featuring former members of Blood Brothers and Murder Ballots) opening. Donations will be accepted at the door.
If you’ve had great health insurance or have experienced only well-being in your life, you may never have been to the Country Doctor Community Health Centers. But everybody else has. Over the last 40 plus years, if you were sick, injured, or needed a medical professional to assure you that you were neither sick nor injured, the Country Doctor Community Clinic and the Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center have been the places to go for comprehensive health care. Most importantly, this medical care has been provided to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.

Country Doctor’s professional staff and volunteers do an incredible job up on the Hill helping uninsured and underinsured people who would otherwise fall through the cracks left by a decimated Basic Health program.
